Craftsmanship & Specifics
We don’t just cut fabric; we engineer garments. When you design a suit with us, you are getting traditional bespoke construction:
- Floating Canvas Construction: Unlike fused mall suits that bubble over time, our jackets feature a traditional floating canvas that molds to your body over the years, creating a natural, rolling lapel and a flawless drape.
- Reinforced Stress Points: Bar-tacked pocket edges and reinforced buttonholes ensure your suit withstands the test of time.
- Premium Thread & Interfacing: We use high-tenacity core-spun threads for seams that will never pop.
Global Delivery & Our Timeline
Because your suit is entirely bespoke—cut by hand to your exact dimensions and fabric choice—it is not sitting on a shelf waiting to be shipped.
- Tailoring Timeline: Please allow 3 to 4 weeks from the date you place your order.
- How the timeline works:
- Days 1-5: Your Measurement Review Window. (Update your sizes anytime!)
- Day 6+: Our master tailors draft your pattern, cut your fabric, and begin hand-sewing your suit.
- Final Week: Your suit undergoes a rigorous quality check, is pressed, and is carefully packaged in our bespoke garment box.
- Worldwide Shipping: We deliver globally. Once your suit ships, we will send you a tracking number. Wherever you are in the world, your custom suit will find you.
The Bespoke Care Guide: Protecting Your Investment
A custom-tailored suit is an investment. Treat it with respect, and it will keep you looking sharp for years.
Daily Habits:
- Rest is Essential: Never wear your suit two days in a row. Wool fibers need 24-48 hours to relax and release tension. Always hang it on a wide, contoured wooden hanger immediately after wearing to maintain its shape.
- Brush it Down: At the end of the day, give your suit a gentle brush with a natural-bristle garment brush. This removes microscopic dust and dirt that can cut the wool fibers and cause a dull, shiny appearance over time.
Cleaning Rules:
- Avoid Dry Cleaning: The harsh chemicals used in dry cleaning strip the natural oils from wool, making it brittle and lifeless. Only dry clean your suit once or twice a year, or if there is a major spill.
- Spot Clean: For minor stains, gently dab (never rub) with a damp cloth and a mild detergent suited for wool.
- Steam, Never Iron: To remove wrinkles, hang the suit in the bathroom during a hot shower, or use a handheld garment steamer. If you must iron, use the lowest wool setting and always place a pressing cloth (a clean cotton pillowcase works) between the iron and the fabric to prevent permanent “shine” marks.
Storage:
- Store your suit in a breathable cotton garment bag—never plastic, which traps moisture and leads to mildew. Use cedar blocks or lavender sachets in your closet to naturally repel moths without the harsh chemical smell of mothballs.
